Noise cancelling and custom options

Sleep earplugs

A peaceful night’s sleep can transform your wellbeing. Amplifon’s sleep earplugs block unwanted sounds such as snoring or traffic noise, helping you rest deeply without discomfort.

Swimming earplugs

Protecting your ears from water prevents infections like swimmer’s ear. Our swimming earplugs are made from waterproof, hypoallergenic materials and can be custom-moulded for a perfect fit.

Shooting and hunting earplugs

Shooting and hunting earplugs are designed for impulse noise protection. They dampen sudden loud sounds from gunfire while still allowing ambient noise and conversation to pass through — essential for safety and communication in the field.

Motorcycle earplugs

Wind and engine noise can reach harmful levels during long rides. Our motorcycle earplugs reduce noise while keeping essential traffic sounds audible, ensuring safety and awareness on the road.

Music earplugs

For musicians and concert lovers, music earplugs reduce sound levels evenly across frequencies without distorting quality. This allows you to hear clearly while protecting your ears from loud venues and instruments. Custom-moulded options provide long-term comfort for performers and sound engineers.

Work earplugs

Exposure to noise at work is one of the leading causes of preventable hearing loss in Australia. Amplifon provides certified earplugs for work that ensure protection and comfort throughout the day. Options include custom earplugs for work, reusable earplugs, and noise-cancelling models suitable for offices, factories or construction sites.

Airplane earplugs

Changes in air pressure can cause discomfort or pain during flights. Airplane earplugs help regulate pressure in the ear canal and reduce cabin noise, offering relief for frequent travellers and people prone to ear barotrauma.

Fireworks earplugs

Loud bursts from fireworks can exceed 150 dB. Fireworks earplugs provide crucial protection for those attending celebrations, reducing sudden peaks of noise while maintaining situational awareness.

Why it’s important to wear earplugs

Experts remind us that, to prevent hearing loss, it’s best not to exceed a noise level of 85 decibels. Hearing protection is suitable for a wide range of situations — from noisy work environments to everyday activities such as going to a nightclub or concert, swimming, travelling, or even doing household chores.

Materials used in our earplugs

Our earplugs are crafted from high-quality materials to ensure both comfort and effective noise reduction. Foam earplugs are soft, compressible and expand to fit the ear canal, offering a snug seal for short-term or intermittent use. Silicone and soft polymer earplugs provide a durable, reusable option that moulds comfortably to the shape of your ear. For custom earplugs, medical-grade silicone or hypoallergenic materials are used to create a perfect fit, combining long-lasting comfort with reliable protection in any environment.

How to wear earplugs correctly

To get the best protection, it’s important to insert earplugs properly. Roll foam earplugs between your fingers to compress them, gently pull your ear upward and backward, and insert the plug fully into the ear canal. Hold it in place for a few seconds to let it expand. For silicone or custom earplugs, follow the manufacturer’s instructions to ensure a secure, comfortable fit. Proper insertion maximises noise reduction and ensures your ears are protected in any environment.
