These terms and conditions set out some general terms and conditions that apply to all promotions (directly below), as well as terms and conditions which apply to each individual promotion.

General terms and conditions:

  • To be eligible for these promotions, payment of the hearing aids must be made at time of fitting.
  • Hearing aids must be ordered between 1st September - 30th September 2023, Standard manufacturer warranty conditions apply to any hearing aids purchased.
  • To the extent permitted by law, National Hearing Care and Amplifon can amend, vary, suspend or ter­minate these terms and conditions with 14 days notice.
  • All offers are available in conjunction with Humm payment plans. Humm terms and conditions apply – see https://www.shophumm.com.au/terms-and-conditions.
  • Discount offers are not available with any other offer.
  • The promotions are not available to Amplifon employees in combination with existing benefits.
  • Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program. 

(1)   Hearing Test free of charge (also known as a screening or hearing check) :

Amplifon is offering hearing tests free of charge to everyone 18 years and over.

  • This is a basic screening check to determine if hearing loss is present.
  • We may recommend an advanced hearing assessment. Clients eligible for full or partial reimbursement under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program will be funded for this advanced hearing assessment appointment so there is no cost to the client. Conditions apply to clients under the Austra­lian Government Hearing Services Program.

(2)   Fully funded hearing aids with the Australian Government Hearing Services Program

  • Amplifon will check your eligibility for fully funded hearing aids and services through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).
  • Eligibility criteria applies.
  • Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • Amplifon always offer a fully funded hearing aid solution under the HSP funded hearing aids.
  • HSP clients can purchase a maintenance plan which will not exceed $50.40 - this will cover the cost of batter­ies, earmold renewals, repairs, ear-hook replacements, adjustments & re-programming (if required), replace­ment of tubing, wax guards and cords of the hearing aids.
     

(3)   30-day money-back guarantee

  • Hearing aids may be exchanged for other products (of the same or lesser value), or may be returned for a re­fund, within 30 days of purchase.
  • Amplifon reserves the right to refuse to exchange or refund hearing aids where the hearing aid (including its parts) have not been returned or have been damaged or lost.
  • Any refund paid will be the amount paid by the client only, which will not include any discounts or funders’ contributions (e.g. Australian Government Hearing Services Program Department of Veterans’ Affairs, Work Cover or Insurance contributions).
     

(4)   Fully funded or subsidised Assistive Listening Devices under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program

  • Amplifon offer a range of Assistive Listening Devices for purchase.
  • Devices include: Audeara Bundle, Audio Maxi Pro (Earphones), Audio Maxi Pro (Headphones), Momentum True,  Wireless 2-Black, Momentum True Wireless 2-White, Sennheiser RS 195
  • Amplifon will check your eligibility for fully funded or subsidised assisted listening devices and services through the Australian Government Hearing Services Program (HSP).
  • Eligibility criteria apply.
  • Conditions apply to clients under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • Amplifon always offer a fully funded hearing aid solution under the HSP. You may also choose to top-up (contribute an out of pocket amount) to the next level of technology from the HSP funding.
     

(5)   Price match guarantee for written quotes on hearing devices

  • A formal quote of the same product must be shown within 30 days.
  • Quote must be from an Australian retailer.
  • Online quotes do not qualify.
     

(6)  Home visit appointments – available in most areas

  • Home Visit appointments may not be available in your suburb.
  • Conditions apply under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • Under no circumstances are Amplifon employees permitted to visit a client in their home/ nursing home/ hospital/ aged care facility unless the visit is requested by the client – and/or the client’s guardian/ power of attorney – in writing.
  • Home Visit appointments are available for everyone 18 years and over who meet the health & safety criteria and subject to any government ban or restriction or visits which may apply, including, but not limited to, visits to aged care facilities.
  • Home Visit appointment costs are to be paid in full the day before the Home Visit appointment.
  • Home Visit appointments costs are as follows:
  • Private customers is $75 ($50 appointment & $25 travel);
  • DVA & OHS customer $25 (fully funded appointment);
  • DVA & OHS customers that have a Doctors Letter or reside in a nursing home there is no cost to the cus­tomer; and
  • Work Cover customers will also receive this appointment at no cost to the customer.
  • Home Visit appointment fees are eligible to be used as a discount on any hearing aid purchase at Amplifon. The credit will remain on the clients record until used.
     

(7)   Hearing device starting from $36 per month – with Humm Interest free payment plans

  • Amplifon is offering flexible interest free payment plans through Humm.
  • Humm terms and conditions apply – see https://www.shophumm.com.au/terms-and-conditions
  • Humm eligibility criteria applies.
  • Hearing technology has never been more affordable starting from $36 per month. This price is based on a 36-month interest free payment plan;
  • The following monaural hearing aid devices: Mirum 3 NANO RITE, Mirum CIC X, Mirum CIC P from Bernafon; and
  • $36 includes cost of hearing aids + monthly Humm fee
    • $36 per month is based on Berfafon Mirum 3 NANO RITE, Mirum CIC X, Mirum CIC P. The price of the hearing aid is $1000 and repayments over 36 months
    • $36 per month includes $8 month Humm fee, equating to $288 over the full term
    • $16.51 fortnightly payments over 78 fortnights (3 years) = $1287.78. $1287.78 / 36 months = $35.77
    • $36 per month has been rounded up from $35.77 for illustrative purposes
  • Australian Hearing Services Program (HSP) fully funded and Department of Veterans’ Affairs (DVA) customers that choose to top-up (contribute an out of pocket) amount towards their hearing aids are eligible for the $36 per month with Humm. The customer will be required to pay the remainder of the invoice after the HSP funding has been applied.
  • The hearing devices, Mirum 3 NANO RITE, Mirum CIC X, Mirum CIC P from Bernafon, are not eligible for any other discount offer.

(8)   Etika Interest Free Payment Plan

  • Payment plan provided by etika Australia Pty Ltd (ABN: ABN 29 629 009 025) and available to approved private clients and participants of the Australian Government Hearing Services Program who wish to contribute to the cost of their hearing aids and who are approved by etika, subject to etika application process, lending criteria and etika T&Cs. See www.etika.com for full T&Cs and calculation of minimum costs.

(9)   Advanced Hearing Assessment (also known as a Comprehensive Hearing Assessment) at no cost to you:

  • Amplifon is offering advanced hearing assessment free of charge for select custom­ers.
  • To qualify, the client must have received a letter, call, email, flyer, partnership offer or filled in your contact details on specific digital advertising from Amplifon.
  • Advanced hearing assessment must be booked by 30th September.
  • Clients eligible for full or partial reimbursement under the Australian Government Hearing Services Program will be funded the appointment so there is no cost to the client. Conditions apply to clients under the Austra­lian Government Hearing Services Program.
  • Customers must be 18 years and older to be eligible for this offer.
     

(10) Free Trial up to 14 days

  • Free trial is subject to a hearing assessment with hearing loss identified
  • In the event that the hearing aid/s are damaged or not returned, Amplifon reserves the right to charge the client up to 100% of the value of the device/s.
  • Trial is for up to 14 days.
  • Free trial excludes devices fully subsidised by the Hearing Services Program
  • 14 day trial begins on the date of the fitting.
  • Amplifon remain the owner of the hearing aid/s during the trial period and until such time they are paid in full.
  • The client may not reassign, transfer and/or sell the hearing devices.
  • The client agrees to: 
    • Follow instructions provided by Amplifon for the proper use of the hearing aids.
    • Use the hearing device/s solely for the purpose for which they are intended to be used
    • Properly store the hearing device/s in their storage container provided by Amplifon, when not in use
    • Not do any act which is likely to damage or alter the condition of the hearing device/s
    • Return all hearing aid/s, in operating and merchantable condition, to Amplifon at the end of the trial period (including any chargers and/or accessories provided for the trial)
    • Immediately pay for the trial devices in full, should they not be returned to Amplifon at the end of the trial period in operating and merchantable condition.
  • In the event of any breach of these terms and conditions (and in particular, the client’s failure to return devices at the conclusion of the trial period), Amplifon reserves the right to refuse ongoing or future service to the client from any or all Amplifon Australia group entity/ies (including National Hearing Centres Pty Ltd, Bay Audio Pty Ltd and/or Attune Hearing Pty Ltd).

(11)   Maintenance – at no cost to you

  • To qualify, the customer must become or must be a Amplifon customer.
  • Offer applies only to those eligible for the Australian Government Hearing Services Program or clients that have received a letter, call or flyer from Amplifon with the details of this offer.
  • Amplifon will waive the out of pocket amount for a maintenance plan that the client would be required to pay.
  • The maintenance will be renewed for 12 months from the month the maintenance voucher expires and the client must sign the appropriate documentation to activate this offer.
     

(12)   Help a Friend Stay Connected

  • $10 e-voucher is redeemable when referred friend completes a free hearing test and presents voucher in clinic.
  • You and your friend must provide an email address to be eligible for the e-voucher.
  • Referred friend must be new to Amplifon and over the age of 18.
  • The e-voucher cannot be redeemable for cash and will be emailed to each person within 10 days of the re­ferred friend’s appointment.
  • Usage of the e-voucher at participating merchants only.
  • Valid for 3 months from issue date.
     

(13)   Smile Rewards

For Existing Customers:

  • Gifts will be available for pick up from your local Amplifon store within 10 working days from gift selection.
  • Amplifon reserves the right to change the rewards without notice or end the program without notification.

For Friend:
Offer 1:

  • Free Advanced Hearing Assessment
  • Available for customers 18 years and over.
  • Customers must have a hearing loss to be eligible for the hearing aid demonstration.
  • Eligible HSP customers fully funded by Hearing Services Program.
  • Valid for 3 months from issue date.

Offer 2:

  • 30% off Second Hearing Aid
  • Second hearing aid must be for the same person and cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer.
  • Hearing aids that are fully funded by a third party provider are not eligible.
  • Valid for 3 months from issue date

Offer 3:

  • 20% off All Accessories
  • Available on all hearing aid accessories.

(14)   Free gift for Comprehensive Hearing Assessment

  • To qualify, the client must have received an email from Amplifon with the details of this offer.
  • The customer must not have previously had a Comprehensive Hearing Assessment with Amplifon within the last 12 months.
  • For the purpose of this campaign, the term ‘gift’ refers to Amplifon branded notebook, Amplifon branded drink bottle, Amplifon branded book light and Amplifon bag.
  • Gifts are subject to change at the discretion of Amplifon due to stock availability.
  • Gift to be issued to client on completion of their Comprehensive Hearing Assessment
  • Offer is valid for Comprehensive Hearing Assessment appointments attended between 1st September - 30th September 2023 or while stocks last.
  • Must be over the age of 18 to redeem.
     

(15)   Free gift for screening appointments

  • To qualify, the client must have received an email from Amplifon with the details of this offer.’
  • The customer must not have previously had a Screening appointment with Amplifon within the last 12 months.
  • To qualify, the customer must have booked their Screening appointment online via the Amplifon website or by calling 13 MY EARS (13 69 3277).
  • For the purpose of this campaign, the term ‘gift’ refers to the choice of one of the following:

    • Amplifon bag.

(21)   Top up promotion for Hearing Services Program clients
