Songs we've sent to space
Jun, 13, 2019

Since the dawn of time, mankind has been curious about life on other planets. In our quest to find other forms of life, we’ve sent an array of probes, waves signals and spacecrafts into the unknown. Along with these efforts, we’ve also sent audio recordings and songs deep into outer space, hoping that aliens will find them and send back their own mixtapes.

For this playlist, we’ve compiled a list of space themed songs. From the recent launch of a Tesla car playing David Bowie’s Space Oddity onboard, to the 1970s when NASA created a Golden Record of human sounds and sent it up with the Voyager space probes, these are the tunes that space agencies believe best represent our humanity. We just hope aliens appreciate good music and our space themed songs, as much as we do.
