Nearby Landmarks & Directions

We are located on the South Street on the end of Hardye Arcade, between Goulds Department Store (the one which sells homewares – there are two in Dorchester), and SpecSavers.

  • By Car – Parking: Acland Road Pay and Display Car Park is located at the opposite end of the Hardye Arcade, where the branch is situated. Trinity Street Pay and Display is also a short walk (five minutes) from the branch. There are other Pay and Display car parks such as Fairfield and Bridport Road, which are a ten minute walk from the branch. The costs of all are similar – 1 hour = 60p,  2 hours = £1.
  • By Bus – Nearest Bus Stop: The nearest bus stop is on Trinity Street which runs parallel to South Street, for No. 10 to Weymouth, No 101 Crossways, X31 Bridport, No 1,2 and 6 Dorchester Bus. The bus stop is less than five minutes walk from the branch, along flat terrain.
  • By Train – Nearest Stations: Dorchester West and Dorchester South train stations are around half a mile away. From Dorchester West, walk down to the main road junction and continue straight onto Great Western Road. At the bottom of the road, cross over Trinity Street and then turn left onto South Street. The branch is then located a short distance down South Street, on the right. From Dorchester South, walk down to Brewery Square and walk round to the right of the fountains, to reach Weymouth Avenue. Turn right and continue past The Atrium Health Centre. It is easiest to pass the first pedestrian crossing and continue to the next. Cross the road at the crossing opposite Classic Beauty and then bear right onto the main shopping street, South Street. The branch is a short distance down this road, on the right.

Take the first steps to better hearing by booking an appointment with us for a FREE hearing test. We'll discuss your hearing needs and, after the hearing tests, you'll have the opportunity to take a pair of hearing aids home as part of our free trial service.
