The next chapter in your hearing care - Amplifon is becoming Audika

Exciting Updates About Your Hearing Care

We’d like to share some exciting news about your hearing care.

From 1 July, Hidden Hearing and Amplifon are coming together as one, under a new name: Audika.

And while our name is changing, our expertise and personalised care are staying the same, so you can be confident that you’ll still receive the same, expert hearing care that you can trust.

This page explains changes if your hearing care moves to a nearby Audika centre. If not relocating, your care continues as usual under the Audika name.

Audika: experts in personalised hearing care

FAQs - About the change to Audika

Why are Amplifon and Hidden Hearing becoming Audika?

We’re bringing our teams together under one globally recognised hearing care brand so we can invest more in expertise, technology and access to care.

Becoming Audika allows us to strengthen our UK presence and help even more people hear better - while continuing to deliver personalised hearing care.

Audika is part of Demant, a global leader in hearing care, bringing together over 14,000 hearing care experts from across the UK and around the world. By working as one connected network, we’re able to share expertise, invest in clinical excellence and expand access to care - while keeping your hearing care personal and local.

This global strength allows us to invest in clinical knowledge, technology and facilities - all delivered through local experts who take the time to understand you, your hearing and your life. Despite our global scale, your care remains very much local, supported by teams in your community and UK‑based customer services.

Is Audika a new company?

No. Audika is an established global hearing care brand, employing tens of thousands of hearing care professionals worldwide. While the name may be new in the UK, the people, expertise and commitment will stay the same.

Clinics, locations and access

Am I affected by this move?

Some Amplifon hearing centres are relocating as part of Audika’s expansion across the UK.

If your hearing centre is in the above list, your hearing care will move to a nearby Audika hearing centre. If your clinic is not listed, nothing is changing – your hearing care continues in the same place.

Why is my care moving?

As Audika grows across the UK, we’re making sure our hearing centres are in the right places to offer better access overall. Relocating some centres allows us to strengthen our network while continuing to support existing customers.

Where will my new Audika hearing centre be?

We’ll confirm your new hearing centre directly with you, including address details and contact information.

Can I choose a different Audika hearing centre?

If the new centre that we’ve assigned isn’t convenient, please contact us – we’ll be happy to discuss alternative locations with you.

What if I can’t travel easily?

If travelling is difficult due to health or mobility reasons, we can arrange home visits, subject to availability in your area.

Hearing aids, aftercare and records

Will my hearing aids still be supported?

Yes. All hearing aids previously supplied by Amplifon will continue to be fully supported by Audika.

Are my warranties and aftercare still valid?

Yes. Your existing warranties and aftercare arrangements remain in place, and you’ll continue to receive the same support for your hearing care, administered by Audika.

What happens to my hearing records?

Your hearing records will be transferred securely so your care continues seamlessly at your new Audika hearing centre.

Is my personal information still protected?

Yes. Your personal data continues to be handled securely and in line with UK data protection laws. Only authorised clinical and administrative teams involved in your care have access to your information.

Branding and signage

Why does my new clinic say Amplifon above the door?

As we roll out the Audika name across the UK over coming months, some clinics may temporarily continue to display Amplifon or Hidden Hearing signage. This is part of our nationwide network expansion and transition plan.

Am I still in the right place?

Yes. Even if signage hasn’t yet changed, you’re in the right place and your hearing care continues as normal.

There is more than one Audika centre near me. Can I choose which one I go to?

You may see more than one Audika hearing centre in your area: this is so we can serve the local community better. We’ll make it clear which hearing centre to visit and we’re happy to accommodate any requests to move your care to a more convenient location.

Can’t get to us?

Don’t worry. For anyone who might struggle to get to one of our hearing centres for health and mobility reasons, we can arrange a home visit (subject to availability in your area). Find out more here.
