How often should I change my hearing aid battery?

Battery life varies based on the battery size as well as active features being used throughout the day, such as wireless streaming and how often some features need to engage and disengage based on your environment. A lot of our hearing aids feature rechargeable batteries, which is extremely convenient! For more information about hearing aid batteries click here. 

Are hearing aids waterproof?

Always take your hearing aids out before having a shower, bath or going swimming, as moisture can damage the electronic components in your hearing aid. Nevertheless, you can keep hearing aids on during sport activities and home fitness. Your Audiologist will advise you to remove the battery overnight, leaving the battery compartment open. A specific dehumidifier should be used regularly.

How often do I have to clean my hearing aids?

Regular cleaning and maintenance can extend the life of your hearing aids ensuring you are capturing all the sounds of life every single day. You will need to ensure your hearing aids are clean and free of ear wax at all times. If you are cleaning your hearing aids, use a dry, soft cloth. You can read our step-bystep guides here.
