How often should I change my hearing aid battery?

Battery life varies based on the battery size as well as active features being used throughout the day, such as wireless streaming and how often some features need to engage and disengage based on your environment. Are hearing aids waterproof?

Always take your hearing aids out before having a shower, bath or going swimming, as moisture can damage the electronic components in your hearing aid. Nevertheless, you can keep hearing aids on during sport activities and home fitness. Your hearing specialist will advise you to remove the battery overnight, leaving the battery compartment open. A dehumidifier should be used regularly.
