I have been using Salters now for about 8 years and I have to say their service and attention to detail is fantastic. James is always helpful and offers great advise. I prefer using an independent opticians such as Salters instead of the large chains since you tend to get better service. In addition, it is better to support a local independent business than a chain where you get patchy service at best and do not know who the overall owners are. Its a great opticians and I can't recommend them enough.

Used the services of Salters for the first time today for a repair of my glasses. James did a fantastic job of the repair and he, like all the staff i encountered, were very friendly abs professional. I will certainly be heading here in the future for my eyesight tests etc, as I saw a big difference in how they look after their customers compared to where I normally go (Boots). It's made me realise the difference in using an independent rather than a big chain.
