CRS Amplifon |
The CRS Amplifon (Amplifon Centre for Research and Studies) is set up to support scientific research, which disseminates information and scientific, clinical and rehabilitative practice in the fields of otorhinolaringology, audiology, otological neurosurgery and psychoacoustics. |
Set up in 1971 by Charles Holland as the "Centro Ricerche e Studi Amplifon", seeks to provide services for professionals, mainly ENT specialists but also general practitioners, paediatricians, neurologists, hearing-aid specialists, speech therapists, and audiometrists. These services fall into three main areas: The promotion of scientific research and the exchange of scientific and clinical information between various countries by means of: - management of international research projects
- organisation of international study grants
Training by means of : - a programme of more than 20 courses every year on basic topics related to this field
Updating by means of : - a programme of international congresses and seminars on themes of particular importance and/or particular scientific topicality
- bibliographical research, collection of publications and journals in the library; publication of scientific, technical and clinical updates
