The beginning
In 1962 Amplifon launched the Amplaid brand with the development and production of equipment for audiometry, impedenzometry and evoked potentials. Biomedical products are distributed using this brand name, now known throughout the world, which is not only an indicator of most advanced research and, but at the same time, also a starting-point for further progress in audiological technology.
New developments
At present the Amplaid line includes a complete range of systems for otological diagnosis. The most recent developments are computerised hearing aids with digital chips, new software for the management of audiology clinical records, and new multi-channel systems for electrodiagnosis.
Quality control and international standards
